Half Dollars plain 80 ports - Dansco Coin Albums

  • $33.45

Dansco Coin Albums have been a longtime companion for both expert numismatists and beginning coin collectors. The Half Dollars Plain Dansco Album comes in a 5/8" binder and holds up to 80 coins. The album has 4 Dansco plain pages, each one holding and displaying 20 U.S. half dollars. The Act of April 2, 1792, authorized the creation of half dollar coins. Various "Liberty" designs were seen from early half dollars through 1947. Half dollars acquired a new personality when Benjamin Franklin's portrait appeared on the 1948 obverse. In 1964, Kennedy's likeness replaced Franklin's and would become emblematic of the denomination. Dansco Plain Albums allow collectors the freedom to build unique types of collections. While dated half dollar albums are fixed to display and hold certain types of coins, this one gives you the choice to create your own half dollar collection. Dansco Coin Albums have their pages attached with metal screws, making it easy to add and replace.
