Mint has commissioned two new £5 coins for 2005.

commissioned two new £5 coins for 2005.
The Horatio Nelson
Commemorative £5 Crown, designed by James Butler, bears the image of the
courageous Admiral in full naval dress.
Minted to brilliant uncirculated standard - a higher quality than
circulation coins. The obverse of each coin bears the portrait of
the Queen by Ian Rank Broadley, FRBS.

To commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar, the
Royal Mint has commissioned two new £5 coins for 2005.
The Battle of Trafalgar Commemorative £5 Crown, designed by Clive
Duncan, depicts Nelson’s flagship HMS Victory leading his fleet into
battle.
Minted to brilliant uncirculated standard - a higher quality than
circulation coins. The obverse of each coin bears the portrait of
the Queen by Ian Rank Broadley, FRBS.

The set includes two illustrated presentation packs and a complementary
slip case.
